Apply 80/20 to vaccination

Six easy steps to minimize risks and maximize benefits.

Apply 80/20 to vaccination
Use as few vaccines as possible, minimize risk, maximize benefit

The 80/20 principle is a law of nature that says 20% of effort typically provides 80% of results. Or that 20% of our roads carry 80% of the traffic. Or that a small number of decisions have resulted in where you are at today. Or that a small number of localities in a small number of states determine the election. 80/20 is literally everywhere.

You can 80/20 your health by removing 1 or 2 junk foods from your diet. Or taking an ice bath each morning. Or strength train 3x a week at ages 50+. Small actions that lead to big, beneficial results.

The opposite of 80/20 is like writing a college paper in 2 hours, but spending the next 5 hours on the final paragraph. Or taking on all the risks for little or no benefit at all. An example of this is when a newborn is given the HepB vaccine. Or when a child is fully vaccinated according to the full CDC schedule.

80/20 is always quick and impactful.

Here are 6 easy steps to apply 80/20 to vaccination in order to minimize risks and maximize benefits. Notice that 80/20 is often about removing things.

  1. Reject lifestyle vaccines if you don't live the lifestyle (HepB, HPV)
  2. Reject vaccines for what you determine are mild and beneficial childhood diseases (chickenpox could be one)
  3. Never use a vaccine that hasn't been on the market for at least 5-7 years (or else you are part of the experiment to see what problems it might cause)
  4. To minimize risk while maximizing your ability to recognize reactions, give no more than one or two vaccines at once, and spread them out over time
  5. Never use combo-vaccines (no matter what your doctor says!)
  6. Don't let your child be part of somebody else's plan: never vaccinate without your own Vaccination Plan that you created and puts you in control.
