A Hidden Door They Won’t Tell You About
A Pennsylvania school nurse wrote us:
“We ‘have to’ enforce the state-mandated minimum requirements for vaccination. But that’s not the CDC schedule — and we gladly accept medical, religious, or even moral conviction exemptions… if the parent knows to ask.
We’re not allowed to present it as an option. We have to make it sound required. The exemption? Only happens if the parent knows to write a letter to the superintendent stating they object. Then it’s approved. No more proof of vaccination needed.”
Read that again.
They aren’t allowed to tell you.
But if you show up with the right words on paper — game over.
No second or third dose.
No begging.
No fighting.
Just… exemption approved.
Tony Weighs In
“You get it now? It was never about safety. Or health. Or ‘doing the right thing.’
It was about keeping you in the dark long enough to get you to comply.
They won’t tell you the door’s unlocked — because then you might walk through it.
But once you see it? You don’t crawl anymore. You walk in, hand ‘em the letter, and walk out with your head high. No fear. No flinching.
You’re not just a parent anymore. You’re a threat. And that’s why they’re nervous.”
The Law Itself
Pennsylvania Code §23.84 is clear:
- Medical exemption — if a doctor states immunization would be detrimental to the child’s health.
- Religious or moral conviction exemption — if a parent, guardian, or emancipated child objects in writing on religious grounds or on the basis of a strong moral or ethical conviction similar to a religious belief.
That’s it. No extra hoops. No pediatrician signature required.
How Parents Actually Do It
Renee, a Pennsylvania mom, told us:
“No school district website mentioned exemptions. I scoured the internet until I found a simple form on one district’s site. I’ve used it at multiple schools and even for summer camp. No questions asked. No pediatrician signature. Just hand it in. It works.”
We’ve posted Renee’s form here:
Renee shared this form so no other parent has to scramble like she did. Fill it out, sign it, hand it to the superintendent or school nurse. Keep a copy for yourself.
Quick Facts
- Applies to all students — kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Covers all vaccines — you don’t need to list them individually.
- Accepted reasons — religious belief OR strong moral/ethical conviction.
- Where to submit — your school district superintendent (not your pediatrician).
- Proof of belief — not required. A signed statement is enough.
Final Word from Tony
“The hustle only works if you stay scared.
No doc has that kind of power unless you hand it to him.
Walk in ready to walk out — and the whole game flips. That’s antifragile.”
